Mission Statement

               St. Andrew's On the Sound Preschool is a Christian oriented program designed to promote creative, physical, social/emotional, mental and spiritual growth and development of young children.

Classes Offered and Tuition for 2010-2011

One Year Old Classes:

One Day (Friday)
7 children: 2 teachers
$65.00/month

Class Time     9-11:45

Two Year Old Classes:

TWO DAYS (Monday and Wednesday)
10 children: 2 teachers
$125.00/month

Class Time     9-12

Three Year Old Classes:

THREE DAYS (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
12 children: 2 teachers
$155/month

Class Time     9-12

Four Year Old Classes:

FOUR DAYS (Monday-Thursday)
12 children: 2 teachers
$170/month

Class Time     9-12

Tuition for the fall due on 8/1/10. Please make checks payable to St. Andrew's On the Sound Preschool and address your envelope as follows:

Priority Registration

Priority registration is for members of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, current students and their siblings, and children of staff members. Once these priorities are met, we will offer the remaining spaces to children according to the date in which they were placed on the waiting list.  If the classes have specific needs, selection of students is at the discretion of the Director.
For the 2010-2011 school year, tuition will be due August 1, 2010.  In order to complete the enrollment process, the following must be completed:

• Registration fee
• Application form                                               
• Medical form and copy of immunization record                             
• Directory information                                        
• Parent Release forms

We will follow the traditional Elementary public school schedule for inclement weather as well as teacher workdays and Holidays.

Currently all classes are full.

St. Andrew’s Preschool offers Summer Camps open to children who will be the age of 3 or 4 as of May 31 and potty trained.  In 2010 we will offer the following sessions:

• June 21-25     Fun on the Farm
• July 19-23      Down by the Sea
• August 9-13   Who's at the Zoo

Summer Camp hours are 9:00 a.m. – 12:00.    Cost is $85.00 per week

Summer Camp Tuition payments are made in advance and are first come first served.

Please print and bring or mail your registration form to St. Andrew's as soon as possible.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Fee – Tuition payments are not refundable.  

There are no make up days if your child misses a day.

St. Andrew's Preschool follows announcements made on television and radio for New Hanover County Public Elementary Schools. If:

1. New Hanover County CLOSES due to inclement weather, St. Andrew's Preschool will be CLOSED.
2. New Hanover County has a 2 hour delay, St. Andrew's Preschool will be closed.
3. New Hanover County has a half day schedule, St. Andrew's will close at 11:30am. Our staff has children that need to be picked up as well...
